Echinocereus pectinatus

with great pleasure that today I could finally take pictures even more flowers in my flower bed. Among them was the first cactus bloom. Echinocereus pectinatus is mostly alone, with its white spines in the eye of the beholder. And even if he "only" has a solid colored flowers, it is still worth seeing. In a few weeks there will probably still some more flowers! Among other things I have in Echinocereus Echinocereus viridiflorus and davisii already seen several buds. It will certainly be exciting to pursue their development.

Among others I discovered buds on Echinocereus Echinocereus viridiflorus and davisii . So this will sure be exciting to watch how those buds develop.

needed after the long winter Außenbeet a lot of care. Unfortunately, last winter, many plants have been received. Dazu muss ich sagen das ich vornehmlich Echinoceren eingepflanzt habe. Es wird sich wie sich die Zeiger Pflanzen in Nächste Zeit entwickeln. Anbei Werde ich noch ein paar Photos record, Damita man eine Vorstellung von den Veränderung hat.

My cacti rock bed needs a lot of care after this long winter. Unfortunately a lot of plants died last winter. I think that on the one hand the low temperatures which stayed for a long period caused the loss. And on the other hand thought I that some plants were more forst-tolerant, but they weren't and so they died too. So I reworked my bed a little. First of all I added about 20 bigger stones to the bed, because I think that they are quite important. They store the warmth of the day and also give protection to the plants. These thoughts came me as I realized that a lot of thoese plants died, which stood not nearby a stone or a wall. So these new stone give a lot of new opportunities to give especialy cacti a good spot in the bed. And of course did I  replace the loss with new plants. I bought mostly hardy Echinocereus and planted them in the bed. So the future will tell how well these plants will grow here. But I also will post some pictures as you can see how the bed now looks like.

C & S Spring Awakening show in Zwickau

This weekend it was time again. The OG Zwickau held its annual cactus show with sales on the mountain wind in Zwickau. It was like every year, once again, to see beautiful plants. And also a collector could beat up for sale at the plant. Now I nöchte you but still shows some impressions of the day. Have fun =)

This weekend the Cactus Society of Zwickau (my hometown) solid ITS annual C & S show and sale. The members Brought a lot of nice and outstanding plants with Them to show the visitors. And at the sale one cannabis finde a lot of nice and fair priced plants to buy. But now I Will show you sometime impressions of today. Enjoy =)

Nun ist der Frühling endgültig gekommen. Das sieht man auch bei Vielen the Kleiner Pflanzen. Besonders Saxifraga beginner nun zu blühen. Aber auch Einige Kakteen im Botanischer Garten in Jena steh derzeit in voller Blut.

Spring is finally here. As is evident in the SMÅA plants. Special Saxifraga starting to bloom now. But some cacti are in bloom at the botanical garden in Jena right now.
